MAYOR AlqD COUNCIL INPUT CONTINUED <br /> <br />e) Discussion regarding resolution adopted during Consent Agenda accepting <br /> and awarding bids for 1987 sealcoating projects - <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka referred to the action taken under Consent Agenda to <br />award the bid for 1987 sealcoating projects and requested clarification <br />from Council regarding whether or not their action was intended for the <br />alternate bid which included the City Public Works Department performing <br />prior street sweeping. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Reimann and seconded by Coun¢ilmember DeLuca to clarify <br />action taken during the Consent Agenda by indicating that the 1987 <br />sealcoating projects are awarded to Allied Blacktop in the alternate bid <br />amount of $67,182.25 which deletes initial street sweeping to-be completed <br />by the City. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />CQUNC%~ BUSINESS CONTINUED <br /> <br />Case #22: Request For Payment For Easement Relatin~ To Roanoke S~reet <br /> NW ImDrovement Project: Case Of Jerry And Kay Rachel; <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />authorize payment to Jerry F. Rachel and Kay L. Rachel in the sum of <br />$500.00 as and for their damages incurred for the easement purchased from <br />them by the City over part of Lot 1, Block 5, Reilly Estates. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />¥~YOR AND COUNCIL INPUT CONTINUED <br /> <br />d) Discussion regarding timing for delivery of City Council meeting <br /> agendas - <br /> <br />M~yor Reimann stated that he has discussed the matter with Mr. Hartley; any <br />additional suggestions for the more timely delivery of the City Council <br />meeting agendas should be brought up for discussion at the June 30, 1987 <br />continuation of this meeting. <br /> <br />COLrNCIL BUSINESS CONTINUED <br /> <br />Case ~25: A~oint Chairman To The Landfill Commission: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />appoint Mr. Steven Bluhm as Chairman of the Landfill Commission and to <br />accept the resignation of Mr. George Post from the Landfill Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
