r The Tinklenberg Group Tile interchange of strategies an seintions Proposed Extension of the Ramsey US Trunk Highway 10 Improvement Development Plan July, 2016 t This proposed extension is intended to capitalize on the work begun under the January, 2016 phase of the city's US Trunk Highway 10 Improvement Development Plan and implement the strategies adopted in that plan. It will continue the pursuit of federal, state, and MnDOT funding opportunities necessary to construct additional improvements on US TH 10 within the City of Ramsey and will operate under the performance and reporting requirements established in the July,2015 plan. Work elements of this extension will include a continuation of those identified in the January,2016 plan with special emphasis on the following; * Coordinate and implement activities related to the proposed August,2016, special session of the State Legislature in order to secure state funding to construct additional US TH 10 rail/highway improvements within the City of Ramsey. Coordinate on-going review and consideration of federal and state transportation grant opportunities appropriate to US TH 10 improvements within the City of Ramsey. * Facilitate and coordinate the planning and implementation of meetings of communities and elected officials along US TH 10 in support of broader improvement needs in the corridor. * Follow-up work with the State's congressional delegation in support of federal funding requests related to the City's US TH 10 improvement goals. Prepare for and facilitate the introduction and consideration.of City's 2017 legislative proposals related to US TH 10 improvements. Identify,recommend, and coordinate as directed,pursuit of additional opportunities for MnDOT grant funding applicable to US TH 10 improvements. * As directed,participate in and coordinate with the activities of the Anoka County US TH 10 Corridor Coalition. � ry
