Commissioner Andrusko requested a friendly amendment, noting the characteristics of the lot in <br /> the area adjacent to the home was unique in that it would not allow for the construction of a <br /> garage. <br /> The Commission supported this friendly amendment. <br /> Commissioner Brauer added that if the variance were not approved, he believed the character of <br /> the neighborhood would be impacted because a number of large trees would have to be removed. <br /> Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Brauer, Bauer, Andrusko, <br /> Nosan, and VanScoy. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Maul. <br /> Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner Brauer, to adopt Resolution 916- <br /> 06-106 granting a variance to the OHW setback, the front yard setback, and allowing a second <br /> driveway on the property located at 14301 Neon St NW, contingent upon the Applicant <br /> providing an updated survey confirming that the proposed location is outside the Shore Impact <br /> Zone as well as the assumed elevation differences noted in the case, subject to a survey being <br /> completed on the property and elevation for the garage being 1.8 feet. <br /> Motion Carried.
