PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF KAMSEY ANOtCA COUFrY STATE OF MINNESOTA The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, November 10, 1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. Members Present: Mayor Gary Reimann Councilmember A1 Sorteberg Councilmember Steve DeLuca Councilmember Arnie Cox Councilmember A1 Pearson Also Present: City Administrator David ~artley City Engineer Peter Raatikka City Attorney William Goodrich Community Development Director Anne Norris Finance Officer Noel Graczyk ~L5 TO ORDER Mayor Reimann called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:34 p.m. and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. CITIZEN INPUT Terry Miller - Ramsey Jaycees - Stated that at a recent Jaycees meeting, Mayor Reimann requested that the club fund the city's entrance fee into the Keep America Beautiful System program. At a subsequent Jaycee meeting, the chapter consensus was to offer to pay 50% of the $1250 entrance fee. Mr. Miller noted that the entrance fee is a one-time charge; once the program is in tact, the annual fee is $125.00. Mayor Reimann stated that during tonight's discussion of 1988 budget, he hopes the Council will determine that it is possible for the city to participate in the Keep America Beautiful System. Steve Biuhm - Landfill Commission - Informed Council that at the November 19 Laudfill meeting, MPCA will be giving a presentation on household hazardous waste collection. APPROVAL OF AGEh~A Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to approve the agenda with the following adjustments: Add Case ~11: Report from Personnel Committee.
