PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF KAMSEY <br /> ANOtCA COUFrY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, November <br />10, 1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David ~artley <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br />Finance Officer Noel Graczyk <br /> <br />~L5 TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:34 p.m. <br />and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Terry Miller - Ramsey Jaycees - Stated that at a recent Jaycees meeting, <br />Mayor Reimann requested that the club fund the city's entrance fee into the <br />Keep America Beautiful System program. At a subsequent Jaycee meeting, the <br />chapter consensus was to offer to pay 50% of the $1250 entrance fee. Mr. <br />Miller noted that the entrance fee is a one-time charge; once the program <br />is in tact, the annual fee is $125.00. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that during tonight's discussion of 1988 budget, <br />he hopes the Council will determine that it is possible for the city to <br />participate in the Keep America Beautiful System. <br /> <br />Steve Biuhm - Landfill Commission - Informed Council that at the November <br />19 Laudfill meeting, MPCA will be giving a presentation on household <br />hazardous waste collection. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGEh~A <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />approve the agenda with the following adjustments: <br /> <br /> Add Case ~11: Report from Personnel Committee. <br /> <br /> City Council/November 10, 1987 <br /> <br /> Page 3. of 12 <br /> <br /> <br />
