Case ~10: ~88 ~ud~et: <br /> <br />Council scheduled a special meeting for Tuesday, November 17 and directed <br />that the following items be placed on that agenda: <br /> <br />1988 Budget <br />Renewal of 1988 Group Health and Life Insurance <br />Ramsey Jaycees proposal for joining the Keep America Beautiful <br /> Program <br /> <br />Case ~11: Report From Personnel Committee: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley reported that the Personnel Committee met on November 9 to <br />discuss recommended salaries for employees not represented by the union and <br />part-time positions and the filling of position vacancies. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that this item should probably be tabled until the <br />special Council meeting scheduled for November 17 as Council just received <br />the information this evening and has not had a chance to review it. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley briefly reviewed the recommended salaries for the 3 full time <br />employees not covered by the union, election judges, snow plow drivers and <br />wing operators, skating rink managers, tree inspector/fire warden. Mr. <br />ltartley noted that the information sheet also provides a category with pay <br />ranges for part-time positions that fall under a wide variety of <br />qual if ica tions. <br /> <br />Council directed that the report from Personnel Committee be placed on the <br />November 17 special Council meeting agenda. <br /> <br />Mr. Eartley requested that prior to the November 17 meeting, councilmembers <br />review what services the city should provide, should not provide, does <br />provide and how well; once level of services is determined, that policy can <br />be implemented into the budget. <br /> <br />~ JOUt~I~NT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councitmember Pearson to <br />adjourn the regular City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mmyor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson.
