The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on <br />Tuesday, April 7, 1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. <br />N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota regarding proposed amendments to Chapter 170.01 <br />(Zoning Chapter) of the City Code. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Ken Peterson, Chaiman <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman <br />Mr. Ben Deemer <br />Mr. Roy Shu~way <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Jim Howell <br /> <br />Also Present: Community Develolx~ent Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br /> <br />CAr,]'. TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson called the public hearing to order at 8:17 p.m. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that the proposed amendments would: <br /> <br />1) eliminate fencing requirements for drainage ponds; <br />2) require blacktop or concrete for off-street parking; <br />3) require certified site plans for o0mmercial/industrial proposals. <br /> <br />There was no citizen input. <br /> <br />Motion by Ccmmissio~r Deemer and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to adjourn <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, C~ssioners Zimmerman, <br />Deemer, Shumway, LaDue and Howell. Voting No: None.
