John Myrdal <br />proceeds with the minor platting process. <br /> <br />Further Discussion= Commissioner Deemer noted that this property was <br />acccmxxlated with a metes and bounds subcltvisi~l in the past. <br /> <br />Motion carried. I~_ est To Establish Develo_~ment And Tax Increment Financin? <br /> Districts: Case Of Mr. Robert F~ller-. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Fuller was present to review his request for establishment of <br />Develounent and Tax Incresmnt Districts with the Commission. Hr. Muller <br />proposes to develop a strip c~mmercial center south of 167th and west of <br />St. Francis Blvd. and is requesting City participation in site <br /> <br />Ms. Norris noted that the Economic Develolmmnt Cc~d~sion has reCommended <br />approval of Hr. Muller's request and inclusion of all Rural Business <br /> <br />property in that area in the Develol~ent District. Plarming and Zoning <br />should be reviewing Mr. Muller's request as it relates to land use and the <br />City's Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Motion by Cc~mission~r Sk~ay and seconded by C~mndssioner Rendriksen to <br />recommend approval of the request to establish development and tax <br />increment financing districts and request by Robert Muller for City <br />participation in the proposed develolmmmt, with the level of participation <br />to be determined by City Council ami City staff. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Commissioner Zi,~erman stated that the proposed <br />develoimm, nt is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan and Zoning <br />Ordinances. <br /> <br />/mmmdment by Chairman Peterson and seconded by Commissioner Rowell to <br />r~ that the Devel~t District include ali Rural Business property <br />in the general vicinity of Mr. lalller's proposed developnent and that only <br />Mr. Muller's proposed develol~ent area be included in the Tax Increment <br />Financing District. <br /> <br />/~mndment carried.
