Voting No~ None. <br /> <br />Authorize Budget Amendment For Police Department: <br /> <br />Finanoe Officer Noel Graczyk stated that the Police Department needs to <br />amend it's 1987 Police Protection Budget by $3300 for the purchase of the <br />current ENFORS sofb~are upgrade and the purchase of o~e replacement light <br />bar to be installed on the new squad car. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox an~ secor~k~ by Council~ember DeLuca to approve <br />Resolution %87-53 ~mm~ding the 1987 General Fund Budget. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />~ Flintwood II Develo_~ment ;~_ree~_nt: <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that the City and Fl intwood Venture Company entered <br />into a Develol~ent Agreement dated June 14, 1985. Ge primary purpose of <br />this Development Agreement is to insure the payment of the special <br />assessments levied against the lots in the plat. Flintmo~d Venture. sold 33 <br />lots to Barnett Builders and would like to be relieved of its obligations <br />relating to the 33 lots; Barnett Builders does not want to accept Flintwood <br />Venture C~mpany's liability relating to the remainder of the undeveloped <br />lots in the plat. Mr. Goodrich rec~....ended that Flintwood Venture assign <br />it's rights and obligations under the Develolment Agreement relating to the <br />33 lots to Barnett Builders, Inc. Barnett will then enter into a <br />Develol~ent Agreement with the City based on the existing Develol~ent <br />Agreement but relating only to the 33 lots. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~ber Sorteberg and seoonded by Councilms~ber DeLuca tO: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />authorize an ~ to the original DeveloI~-nt Agreement <br />dated June 14, 1985 between the City ar~ Flintwood Develolm~_nt <br /> whereby Flintwoed Venture Ore,amy will ssign all of <br />it's rights and obligations under said Develot~ent Agreement <br />relating to the foll(~ing described 33 lots: I~ts 10 and 12-21 of <br />Block 3; Lots 1-8, 13-17 and 90-98 of Block 4; all in Flintwood <br />Kills II Addition. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Barnett Builders, Inc. will accept the said assignment relating to <br />the 33 lots described in Item (1) above and agree to be bound by <br />the applicable terms of the Development Agreement including the <br />posting of escrow for the special asses~mmt balance in a form <br />acceptable to the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
