Central Park and a lot of that project could be accomplished through <br />donat/ons rather than tax dollars. <br /> <br />Omumissior~r Hetland inquired if Council agrees with the Oommiseion's idea <br />to pursue a multi-use trail through Northfork. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that Council would be willing to support the alignment <br />if it can be worked out with North Fork. The lcop in Nortbfork should tie <br />into other parks in the city so Northfork residents will see a benefit <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that Council should see the final trail alignment <br />being proposed before any action is taken. <br /> <br />Councilme~ber Pearson stated that he gets complaints ~f parks being locked. <br /> <br />Mr. Mevissen stated that there Me b~n problems at Brook View Park and <br />that park is locked evenings. <br /> <br />Chairman Lichter stated that there are cables across some park entrances to <br />prevent vehicles from entering; people can use the park but no vehicles <br />should be brought into the park. <br /> <br />Ms. Dodge referred to the culverts Councilmember Cox has access to and <br />stated they could be used at the p~rk on school <br /> <br />Case ~: Correctio~ Of Legal Description Of Drainage F~ement: <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that Mr. Jeff Larson of 4943 178th Avenue is selling <br />his property and it has been detemined that the legal description for the <br />drainage easement o~ that property is incorrect. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilme~r Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution %87-57 authorizing a corrective ~c-~ to be received from <br />Mr. Jeff Larson and spouse to the City for the same easement purposes. <br />(Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #87-57). <br /> <br />Motion carried.
