Council~a~ber Cox noted that the City could have real problems if the <br />landfill is closed in it's existing state and not with the environmental <br /> <br />concerns that would be addressed as tart of the vertical expansion. <br /> <br />~. ~artley stated that he was informed by Wayne Serrapo at PCA that if <br />closure took place without the vertical expansion, Waste ~anagement of <br />Minnesota, Inc. would still be responsible for pumping out the leachate <br />generated. <br /> <br />Hotion by Counciln~d~er Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adjourn the special Council meeting. <br /> <br />l~otion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Council~mbers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson.
