CO~SIDER A/'~',DF~I'q'I'S '1"0 ~ 170.01 (Z(:~]I/~ ~) <br /> By: cowry Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />CASE ~4: <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As requested, the City Attorney has drafted amendments to the Zoning <br />Ordinanoe regarding: <br /> <br />1. eliminating fencing requirements for drainage ponds; <br />2. requiring blacktop or concrete for off-street parking; and <br />3. requiring certified site plans for commercial and industrial <br /> proposals. <br /> <br />For your information, enclosed are the following items: <br /> <br />a. D~n~o and attachments (including ordinance containing proposed <br /> amendments) frcm City Attorney dated March 19, 1987 <br />b. Section 170.017L of the City Code <br /> <br />Cbservations: <br /> <br />Please note that Mr. Goodrich has included with his memo Maple Grove's site <br />plan review process and requirements. Mr. Goodrich has noted that these <br />requirements are more detailed than Ramsey's. Mr. Goodrich has suggested <br />that the Commission may wish to review this. <br /> <br />In addition, the Commission should discuss whether frost footing <br />requirements should be revised for commercial and industrial structures, <br />especially as they relate to pole structures, and more stringent <br />development requirements for all commercial and industrial developments in <br />the Urban Area of the City. <br /> <br />Recc~men~tion: <br /> <br />The Cc~mission may wish to recommend the adoption of certain proposed <br />amendments. <br /> <br />Com~i~ton Action: <br /> <br />W~l be based on your discussion. <br /> <br />~eview Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />CoT~unity Development Director <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
