IN~O~I~ ~ <br />Ccmmnity Develolm~nt Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />CASE %12: <br /> <br />1) On March 24, the City Council took action on the following items: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Introduced an ordinance amending the flood plain boundary to <br />accommodate the Stanhope River Hills plat and the extension of Cty. <br />Rd. %116 across the Rum River. <br /> <br />b) Introduced an ordinance rezoning Mr. Schaumburg's property frc~ the <br /> existing R1-R Rural Residential to RI-U Urban Residential zoning. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />Approved a request by Mr. Robert Muller to establish development <br />and tax incr~ent financing districts to accommodate commercial <br />development on the souttmest oorner of 167th and B~y. %47. <br /> <br />d) <br /> <br />Approved a request by Mr. (harles Christian for a conditional use <br />permit to store and operate a vehicle sales business in the Rural <br />Business District at 9457 Fray. <br /> <br />e) Approved a request by Mr. Richard Duggan for a conditional use <br /> permit to manufacture steel horseshoes at 6250 Front Street N~. <br /> <br />f) Granted final plat approval of Sorteberg's 5th Addition requested <br /> by Mr. Allen Sorteberg. <br /> <br />g) Approved a metes and bounds subdivision requested by Mr. Walter <br /> Scroggins. <br /> <br />h) <br /> <br />Approved a request for preliminary plat approval of Now and Then <br />Estates by Mr. Paul Bertils oontingent upon Mr. Bertils complying <br />with City Engineer's letter dated March 3, 1987 and upon Mr. <br />Bertils providing a 30 foot temporary easement to Cty. Rd. %5 on <br />the northeast boundary of the property. <br /> <br />i) <br /> <br />Approved hiring Barton-Aschman Associates, Inc. to complete a land <br />use/transportation study of the Hwy. 910 corridor from the Ramsey- <br />Anoka boundary to Cry. Rd. %83. CDBG funds will be used to fund <br />this study. <br /> <br /> <br />
