Councilmember Cox stated that there is a request for · variance to access on
Variolite in order to build on property that does not have an access.

Mrs. Pomeraning stated that she has · letter fro~ ~r. Goodrich stating that the
property she o~ns (that Hr. Yasseur is proposing to Buy) does have access; at
the last Council meeting, Hr. Goodrich claimed the access vas for farm
equipment use; the letter does not state that.

Council directed the City Engineer to cease pursuing easements for the
extension of 155th as there are no intentions to build that extension in the
near future.

By this action, the decision is made that ~r. Vasseur will not be able to
access his property from the future 155th. Hr. Vasseur viii then require a
variance to street frontage requirements and an access onto an HSA street.

Hotion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox that
provided Hr. Yasseur can develop his parcel with a I0' easement and a I0'
setback, City Council approves the request for a variance to the 200' street
frontage requirement and access onto an NSA street. Further, that when and if
au HSA road is developed to continue the east/vest corridor, Hr. Vasseur*s
access onto Variolite vi11 become part of that HSA extension and his property
vi11 then access that HSA street rather than have a private driveway onto
Variolite.

Further Discussion: Hr. Vasseur stated that he understands the motion but
people affected by the proposed alignment for the extension of 155th still
don't know anything for sure. Hr. Goodrich stated that those people can do
whatever they like with their property; that the City has not acquired any o[
it for street right-of-way. Councilmember Cox stated that the alignment for
the extension of 155th is proposed and doesn't mean any more than that.

Notion carried. Voting Ye8: Hayor Reimanu, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox and
Schlueter.
