Motion by Councihnember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to authorize the business subsidy agreement with Basalt Properties, LLC, and to authorize execution of a development agreement with Basalt Properties, LLC, contingent upon review by the City Attorney. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Pearson, Cook, Elvig, Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Councihnember Elvig stated he is pleased to see the quantity and diversity of the business coming into the City. Staff is doing a great job of recruiting these businesses. Case #4: Public Hearing Request for Vacation of Easement; Case of Turtle Moon Inc. Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:27 p.m. in order to conduct a public hearing. Public Hearing Mayor Gamcc called the public hearing to order at 7:27 p.m. Presentation Colnmunity Development Director Frolik explained the City Council recently granted final plat approval to Rivenwick Village, a mixed use planned unit development consisting of 140 dwelling units in the southeast quadrant of Highway #10 and Riverdale Drive NW. The underlying outlot that makes up the plat contains a drainage and utility easement for a ponding area. That ponding area is being reconfigured with the plat of Rivenwick Village. Therefore, the existing drainage and utility easement must be vacated and replaced with the new easement as shown on the final plat of Rivenwick Village. Citizeu Input There was nolle. Motion by Councihnember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to close the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Strommen, Cook, Kurak, Pearson, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None.
