Motion by Councihnember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to authorize the <br />business subsidy agreement with Basalt Properties, LLC, and to authorize execution of a <br />development agreement with Basalt Properties, LLC, contingent upon review by the City <br />Attorney. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Pearson, Cook, Elvig, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councihnember Elvig stated he is pleased to see the quantity and diversity of the business <br />coming into the City. Staff is doing a great job of recruiting these businesses. <br /> <br />Case #4: Public Hearing Request for Vacation of Easement; Case of Turtle Moon Inc. <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:27 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamcc called the public hearing to order at 7:27 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Colnmunity Development Director Frolik explained the City Council recently granted final plat <br />approval to Rivenwick Village, a mixed use planned unit development consisting of 140 <br />dwelling units in the southeast quadrant of Highway #10 and Riverdale Drive NW. The <br />underlying outlot that makes up the plat contains a drainage and utility easement for a ponding <br />area. That ponding area is being reconfigured with the plat of Rivenwick Village. Therefore, the <br />existing drainage and utility easement must be vacated and replaced with the new easement as <br />shown on the final plat of Rivenwick Village. <br /> <br />Citizeu Input <br /> <br />There was nolle. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Strommen, Cook, Kurak, <br />Pearson, and Zimmerman.
