CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at the Ramsey <br />Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Police Chief James Way <br />Associate Planner Megan Wald <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamcc called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:05 p.m. and called <br />upon Councihnember Cook to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was nolle. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec thanked the Ramsey Lions for the excellent community picnic, which they have <br />held for approximately 20 years. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamcc announced the following: <br /> <br />· The tree book comprised by the Environmental Task Force is available at the City Hall. It <br /> includes information about trees that are good for soils in the City of Ramsey. <br />· Ramsey Happy Days will be held on September 18th, and there is information available at <br /> City Hall. <br />· The Economic Development Golf Tournament will be held at Northfork on August 17th <br /> with a Hawaiian Open theme. <br /> <br />City Council/June 8, 2004 <br />Page 2 of 23 <br /> <br /> <br />
