· Safety Camp will be held on Tuesday, July 20th and Wednesday, July 21st from 8:00 a.m. <br /> to 4:15 p.m. There will also be a picnic with awards given out at the fire station. <br /> Information and forms are available at City Hall and on the City website. <br />· There was a meeting today with the new Catholic Church that will be located in the City <br /> of Ramsey. This will be a great opportunity for the City of Ramsey; it will be the first <br /> Catholic Church in the City. <br /> <br />Councilmelnber Elvig reported he has received a letter regarding the sale of the Boy Scouts <br />Camp that states that the executive committee made the decision not to pursue the sale of the <br />Rum River Camp at this point in time. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman noted Consent Agenda item 14 will include a handout. <br />continuance will be requested for Case 1 and Case 9 of the agenda. <br /> <br />A <br /> <br />Councilmelnber Pearson requested the addition of Case A, a brief update from Police Chief Way <br />regarding thc Joint Law Enforcement Meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to approve the agenda as <br />arnended. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Elvig, Cook, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Councillnember Kurak requested clarification of the street location in Consent Agenda Item 10. <br /> <br />Assistant Public Work Director Olson replied the street location should be 137th Avenue. <br /> <br />Councilmember Strornmen requested the following corrections to the minutes of the regular City <br />Council meeting of May 11, 2004: <br /> <br />· Page 9 of 36, second paragraph, second sentence should be changed to state: "She said <br /> her husband has noted strong odors at Life Fitness, resulting in a headache one day last <br /> year." <br />· Page 30 of 36, second paragraph, second sentence should be changed to state: "With the <br /> City Hall they went through a value statement exercise with staff and the Council on the <br /> COll'lll'littee." <br /> <br />Police Chief Way noted Consent Agenda Item 13, page 186 should be corrected to read "...not to <br />exceed,,.~,,~ <9',...nn 13,869.25. The amount is listed correctly on page 185, but needs to be <br />corrected on page 186.
