Voting No: None. <br />Case #24: Continued (Budget And Levy Limit Considerations: Status 0 <br />Federal Revenue Sharing Funds; Adopt 1988 Budget Development <br />Agenda: <br />Mr. Hartley requested that Council adopt the 1988 budget development <br />agenda. <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt <br />Resolution #87-174 setting the schedule for budget preparation and various <br />hearings. (Refer to resolution file for Resolution #87-174) . <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br />Mr. Hartley noted that Council received literature from the League of <br />Minnesota Cities regarding changes in the law for levy limits. Finance <br />Officer Graczyk's memo dated July 28, 1987 analyzes the effect of that law <br />change so that Council can determine whether or not to apply for an <br />amendment in Ramsey's levy limit. <br />Council tabled discussion of 1988 levy limit levels until their meeting <br />scheduled for August 11, 1987. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adjourn the regular City Council meeting. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson.
