March 26, 1987 the Ramsey Board of Adjustment issued a variance fr~m the <br /> <br />required Mississippi River setback to Mr. John Myrdal for the property at <br />14600 Bowers Drive N.W., which property is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lots 18 and 19, except the southeasterly sixty' feet of <br />said Lot 19, as measured at right anodes to the southeasterly <br />line of said Lot 19, Bowers Mississippi Acres, Anoka ~ounty, <br />Minnesota, subject to restrictions, reservations and easements <br />of record, if any. <br /> <br />~his variance was issued pursuant to Sections 170.013 and 170.01126 of the <br />Ramsey City Code. ~zis variance is perpetual in its duration so long as <br />the conditions imposed herein are cc~plied with. The conditions of this <br />variance are as foll(ws: <br /> <br />1. ~he structure shall he located no closer to the Mississippi River than <br />130 feet. <br /> <br />2. No additions shall he permitted on the river side which shall further <br />encroach on the reduced river setback. <br /> <br />3. The structure and driveWay shall be constructed above the 100 year <br />flood elevations as specified by the City Code and the <br /> <br />4. Any removal of vegetation within the setback shall not he permitted <br />until the City and DNR have reviewed and apprOVed the proposed plans. <br /> <br />5. No removal of vegetation shall he permitted on or near the shoreline of <br />the river which shall encourage bank erosion. <br /> <br />Mr. John Myrdal hereby acknowlec%yes receipt of this variance and that he <br />has reviewed the conditions of the variance and has agreed that he will <br />comply with the terms of this variance. <br /> <br />Mr. John Myrdal Date <br /> <br /> <br />
