C~ #2~ <br /> <br />By: Anne Norris, Ommmmity Develo~nt Director <br /> <br />Background, <br /> <br />Mr. Jeff Erikson is requesting a variance fr~m the maximum height allowance <br />for accessory structures for the property at 15270 St. Francis Blvd. N.W. <br />Mr. Erikson is requesting a variance for a partially constructed accessory <br />building. Mr. Erikson originally submitted plans and was issued a permit <br />to construct a one-story garage (26' x 36') which was consistent with the <br />height allowance for accessory structures. Mr. Erikson has stated that <br />during construction he changed plans without contacting the City's building <br />department. Both Mr. Wirz and Mr. Erickson of City staff noticed the <br />construction and issued a 'stop work order' to Mr. Erikson. <br /> <br />The subject parcel is located in the B-1 Business District. However, <br />Section 170.015G of City Code states that all accessory structures shall <br />not be taller than 16 feet.
