BOARD OF ADJUST~fENT <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF 1LAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MIN~ESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing on Thursday, <br />September 24, 1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. <br />N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota regarding A.J. Parent Company's request for a <br />variance from Section 170.076.24 of the City Code regarding setback from <br />the Rum River. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Roy Shumway <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Michael Terry <br />Mr. Jim Holm <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mr. Jim Howell <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the public hearing to order at 7:52 p,m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. John Stine stated that at the Board's last meeting, he provided <br />comments regarding A.J. Parent'ts request and the Board took action based <br />on those comments. Mr. Stine stated that subsequent to that meeting, he <br />has met with the property owners and builder at the site. It was <br />determined that the proposed setback of the structure is in accordance <br />with structures on adjacent parcels and DNR now has no objections to the <br />variance being approved as originally requested based on the more complete <br />inforamtion that has been provided. <br /> <br />John Speakman - Attorney for Dick and Sharon Jensen - Stated that the <br />setback Mr. Parent is requesting is in line with the setbacks of structures <br />on the two adjoining properties. <br /> <br />AD JOUILNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Holm to adjourn <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chai~an Zimmerman, Commissioners Shumway, <br />LaDue, Terry, Holm and Hendriksen. Voting No: None.
