CRDC Project Update <br /> <br /> At Home Services, Inc. Robert G. and Mary Jo Loftus <br />have started construction on a 28,752 square foot respite <br />care facility across from Mercy Medical Center in Coon <br />Rapids. This new facility will provide 24 hour per day one- <br />on-one care as well as adult day care ]or the elderly and <br />disabled. SBA approved the project for 504 financing in <br />late January, 1987. <br /> Majestic Woodworking, Inc. Jim and Janet Johnson, <br />owners of Majestic Woodworking, Inc. have recently closed <br />on an SBA 504 loan which enabled them to construct their <br />own faciliby in the Coon Rapids Industrial Park. Since the <br />time the Johnson's applied for their loan through CRDC in <br />July, 1986, their business has grown to the extent that they <br />are now working on an expansion to double the size o4 this <br />new facility! CRDC will be coordinating the financing for <br />this expansion, again utilizing the SBA 504 loan program. <br /> <br />COMING EVENTS... <br /> <br />April 29 Women and You - This meeting will focus on <br /> women entrepreneurs -- how to start a <br /> business, how to finance a business and what <br /> assistance is available to them.
