NORTHERN MAYORS <br />ASSOCIATION FORMS TO <br />SPUR DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />The Northern Mayors Association(NMA) was created <br />by 20 cities in the northern part of the Twin Cities <br />Metropolitan Area. The Association is committed to <br />enhancing the economic vitality of its constituent area <br />and the entire metropolitan communit3,, by assisting <br />and stimulating business development, promoting the <br />efficient use of, and uniform investment in, <br />government infrastructure, both fixed and revenue <br />producing, and advocating improving the quahty of <br />life for its citizens and those of the entire metropolitan <br />community. The Mayors and their constituent cities <br />recognized the strength and mutual value of pooling <br />their resources and efforts in promoting, advocating <br />and effecting the improved development of the <br />northern metropolitan area.
