PC CASE <br /> <br />CONSIDER ENDING THE PROBATIONARY' <br />PERIOD FOR A PATROL OFFICER <br /> <br />Givonna Reed, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Ryan Law assumed the position of Patrol Officer on May 20, 2003 and his one-year <br />probationary period ended on May 20, 2004. His performance has been reviewed by the <br />Police Sergeants and has been documented as satisfactory. Based on a satisfactory one- <br />year appraisal, staff is recommending Mr. Law be retained as a regular full-time patrol <br />officer. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Based on the satisfactory one-year appraisal, staff recommends that Patrol Officer Ryan <br />Law be retained as a regular full-time employee effective May 20, 2004. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt a resolution ending the probationary period for Patrol OfScer Ryan Law <br />and granting him status as a regular full-time employee effective May 20, 2004. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />Chi ef <br />Captain <br /> <br />PC: 06/22/04 <br /> <br /> <br />
