Joseph ientyrz to post the minimum escrow of a 20% letter of credit for <br />the proposed sewer and water construction in Oakrldge Industrial Park. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Hr. Sentyrz stated that his bank is requesting <br />information from the city regarding the exact language desired in the <br />letter of credit. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Hayor Reimann, Councilmembers $orteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No:' None. <br /> <br />Hr. $entyrz requested council consideration to allowing blacktop, rather <br />than concrete, curbing as the concrete requirement makes the area too <br />expensive for new businesses to consider as a location. <br /> <br />Hayor Reimann noted that cement curbs are considered to be a more permanent <br />improvement than blacktop. <br /> <br />Hr. Hartley suggested that the details of Hr. Sentyrz' project be discussed <br />at the December 8 council meeting; in the interim Hr. Sentyrz should meet <br />with Hs. Norris and himself to discuss development options. <br /> <br />Discuss Procedures To Be Followed While Processinv ComDlaintg: <br /> <br />Hr. Hartley requested that Council continue a prior discussion regarding a <br />policy for processing complaints and noted that allowing anonymous <br />complaints results in a great deal of harnssement-type complaints. <br /> <br />Council consensus for a policy on processing Complaints is as follows: <br /> <br />s) <br /> <br />Complaining party should be notified of complaint being received <br />and processed and that they will be notified again when a <br />resolution is arrived at, which does take some time.' <br /> <br />b) Anonymous complaints will be discouraged but initially checked out <br /> for validity. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />d) <br /> <br />Staff response and processing of complai, nts shall be as quickly as <br />possible. <br /> <br />Complaints about staff, council and city administrator will be <br />directed to the city administrator and reported to council in the <br />administrator's monthly report. <br /> <br />~ Uvdate On R~ilroad Crossin~ And Truck Traffic: <br /> <br />Hr.
