Large industrial t_racks for hi~h-tech facilities which may require
large build/z~ footprints, extensive park~_~g and n4nimk%l outside
storage.

"Flagship" development which desires high visibility, highway
access and is onmpatible with Ramsey's desired image. Light
manufa~~ plants with a strong office ommponent are typical of
this develotm~-nt type.

Expansion of the Gateway North Industrial Airport reflects a
progressive business envirorment. The airport's clear zone will touch
~5{ 10 frontage and should be an opportunity to em~ize the airport's
presence and relationship to their adjacent industrial oumplex.

Quality residential stock for both single family and multifamily
development should be located close to the community's open space and
natural resources. Housing should provide for a diversity of hmusirg
types includir~ single family luxury hemes, !cw density multifamily,
t~znh~mes and rental prope_~ies. Availability of ~u~h diverse and
quality hOUsing once'again reinforces the attractive business
environment within Ramsey.

Reuse of the existing ~anitary landfill site for c~nity park and
open space is instzum~ to this land-use plan. Trail corridors
may double as buffers between residential and inahnstriat development
and provide convenient neighborhood access to the park facilities.
