4.02: Approve Licenses: <br />Transient Merchant License <br />Friends of Narconon/4101 46th Street Minneapolis <br />4.03: Approve the following Meeting Minutes: <br />1) City Council Work Session dated July 12, 2016 <br />2) City Council Regular dated July 12, 2016 <br />4.04: Approve Declining a Portion of Property Located at 15931 Xenon Street NW <br />4.05: Authorize the Reconditioning of Tennis Courts at Rivers' Bend Park <br />4.06: Adopt Resolution #16-07-136 Approving Cash Disbursements Made and Authorizing <br />Payment of Accounts Payable Invoicing Received During the Period of July 7, 2016 <br />through July 20, 2016 <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Johns, LeTourneau, Kuzma, <br />Riley, Shryock, and Williams. Voting No: None. <br />5. APPROVE AGENDA <br />Motion by Councilmember Shryock, seconded by Councilmember Riley, to approve the agenda <br />as presented. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Shryock, Riley, Johns, <br />Kuzma, LeTourneau, and Williams. Voting No: None. <br />6. PUBLIC HEARING <br />None. <br />7. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />7.01: Consider Approving Contract Extension for Prosecution Services with the Firm of <br />Randall, Goodrich and Haag, P.L.C. with an Expiration of June 30, 2017 <br />Police Chief Katers reviewed the staff report and recommendation to continue criminal <br />prosecution services with the firm of Randall, Goodrich and Haag, P.L.C., approving a one-year <br />extension of the contract with a proposed contract expiration of June 30, 2017. <br />Councilmember Kuzma stated that this was discussed in the worksession earlier tonight. <br />Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember LeTourneau, to approve <br />contract extension for prosecution services with the firm of Randall, Goodrich and Haag, P.L.C. <br />with an expiration of June 30, 2017 with the caveat that the City go out for RFP at that time. <br />Further discussion: Councilmember LeTourneau stated that it makes sense to hold this until the <br />next year and asked for input on the level of service and pricing. Police Chief Katers stated that <br />the police department is the primary user of the prosecution services and they are satisfied with <br />the services and rate. He stated that he would not discourage looking at outside prices but feels <br />City Council / July 26, 2016 <br />Page 3 of 8 <br />
