c. The sale area is located in a suitable off-street location that does not interfere with traffic <br />circulation on the site or obstruct parking spaces needed by the principal use on the site. <br />d. The sale area is not located within 200 feet of a property zoned and used for residential <br />occupancy. <br />e. The hours of operation do not extend beyond 10:00 p.m. <br />f. Signage is limited to one sign per street frontage with an aggregate sign area not exceeding <br />100 square feet. <br />SEC. 18-246. - COMPLIANCE WITH ZONING ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 36). <br />No person shall store for later sale, offer for sale, expose for sale, or sell at wholesale or retail any <br />fireworks unless in full compliance with chapter 36. Sales from motor vehicles, trailers, tents or other <br />temporary structures or shelters or from temporary stands located outside of a permanent building are <br />expressly prohibited. <br />SHOREVIEW conducts an administrative permitting process (203.043) for temporary sales/events <br />(207.030) <br />203.043 TEMPORARY SALE/EVENT PERMIT. <br />(A) Permit Required. Except as provided here, no person shall conduct a temporary sale or event <br />without first obtaining a permit to do so. Temporary sales and events include, but are not limited to, <br />sale of merchandise by temporary vendors, temporary promotional sales by merchants, seasonal <br />residential sales, seasonal sales of seasonal merchandise, sale of flowers or produces, fairs, carnivals and <br />arts and craft sales. <br />(B) Exceptions. The following temporary sales and events do not require a permit: <br />(1) Temporary promotional sales within fully enclosed buildings. <br />(2) Up to two (2) seasonal residential sales per residential address per calendar year provided <br />each sale does not exceed four (4) consecutive days. <br />(3) Art and craft sales conducted by non-profit organizations within a fully enclosed public or <br />quasi -public building such as a school, church, or community center. <br />(4) Produce of farms or gardens provided the produce is grown by the person conducting the <br />sale. <br />(C) Application. An application for a temporary sales/event permit shall be made on forms provided by <br />the City Manager and shall be submitted with the required information. <br />
