no.
Our Mission: To work"ettrer to resposibty grow our community, and to provide quality,cost-effective.and efficient government services.
CC Regular Session 7.6.
Meeting Date: 04/26/2016
By: Tim Gladhill,Community Development
Information
Title:
Discuss Appointments to Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee
Purpose/Background:
Previously, the City Council authorized Staff to recruit an ad-hoc committee to serve as the Comprehensive Plan
Update Steering Committee. Although the number of members is higher than originally anticipated, Staff feels that the size of the group
is manageable within the framework of our existing citizen engagement. Staff would propose to avoid to exclude a
relatively small number of interested parties to simply reduce the number to six(6). This is a special topic, ad-hoc
committee with checks and balances with the Planning Commission and City Council.
Staff believes the names above represent a well-rounded cross section of the community that would serve the
process well. To exclude any of these interested parties might result in a missed opportunity to develop a well
