APPROVAL OF PAILK AND RECREATION ~OMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Rustad and seconded by Commissioner Prall to approve <br />regular Park and Recreation Commission meeting minutes dated June 18, 1987. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Prall, Johnson, Lokker, Rustad <br />and Shumway. Voting No: None. Special joint Planning and Zoning and Economic Development Commission <br /> meeting minutes dated June 9, 1987. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS CONTINUED <br /> <br />Case #1: Discussion Re~ardin~ Status Of Commissioners Lokker And <br /> Shumway: <br /> <br />Commissioners Lokker and Shumway commented that they are present at this <br />meeting and have no problems in attending meetings. <br /> <br />Case #2: Discussion ReEardin~ 1988 Park Budget And Five Year Capital <br /> Improvement Plan For Parks: <br /> <br />The Commission discussed with Public Works Superintendent Mevissen the 1988 <br />budget~ staffing needs for park maintenance and responsibilities. The <br />Commission also discussed increasing the professional services amount to <br />utilize Merland Otto's services to assist in updating the Comprehensive <br />Park Plan and park development and improvements. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Johnson to add <br />in the 1988 budget that one full-time position be hired for park <br />maintenance duties. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Prall, Johnson, Lokker, Rustad <br />and Shumway. Voting No: None.
