Absent: Commissioners <br />Hendriksen and Howell. <br /> <br />The Commission tabled appointing a new vice chairman until the current <br />vacancy is filled. <br /> <br />~ piscussion Re~ardin~ Vacancy On Commission: <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that previous applications received relating to the <br />vacancy created by the nonreappointment of Ben Deemer are still valid for <br />consideration in filling the vacancy created by Ken Peterson's resignation. <br />No new applications have been received. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to table <br />recommending an appointment to fill the Commission vacancy until the next <br />regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission, at which time staff <br />should have copies of all current and new applications available for <br />r My iew. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Commissioners Hendriksen and <br />Howel 1. <br /> <br />¢0MMISSION INppT <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that the Economic Development Commission would like to <br />meet with Planning and Zoning regarding the extension of utilities north of <br />Magnesium Street for future residential development. <br /> <br />The Commission directed Ms. Norris to schedule a joint meeting of EDC and <br />P&Z for Tuesday, June 9, 1987. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to <br />adjourn the regular Planning and Zoning meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
