INFORMATION ITEMS <br /> <br />CASE #8: <br /> <br />1. At its May 26, 1987 meeting, the City Council requested staff to <br />obtain bids for the following improvements in Central Park: <br /> <br />a) 2 hockey rinks with lights <br />b) an additional athletic field for soccer and football <br />c) an expansion of the existing parking area <br />d) goal posts for the athletic field <br /> <br />The Council also requested that staff obtain bids for lights for the tennis <br />courts in Titterud Park. <br /> <br />City Council specified that construction of these improvements would not be <br />approved until a development plan for Central Park has been recommended to <br />the City Council by the Park and Recreation Commission. In addition, the <br />City Council did not approve a warming house for Central Park pending <br />further discussion with the Jaycees and RYAA regarding future uses of such <br />a building. <br /> <br />2. The City Council requested that city staff take reservations for <br />Central Park athletic fields and also requested that damage deposits and <br />rental fees be required. <br /> <br />3. A final tally of the park survey will be available for your review at <br />the meeting. A copy of the survey results will be published in a future <br />issues of the Ramsey Resident. <br /> <br /> <br />
