Rartley stated that with Chapter 444 the City would install the <br />utilities and recover the costs through a user charge and utility billing <br />to those properties hooking up to the services. Mr. Hartley noted that <br />billing will have to be on a monthly basis ar~ the Accounting Department is <br />having great difficulty now taking care of water billing. To implement the <br />propose~ sewer and water project, the City is going to have to develop a <br />manpower and utility billing system that works. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~ber DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adopt Resolution #87-55 accepting the feasbtlity report and calling for a <br />public hearing on March 31, 1987 at 7.-30 p.m. at the Ramsey Municipal <br />Center regarding sanitary sewer and water improvements in the Industrial <br />and Commercial area (Phases I, II and III only). Voting No: None. ;~06ent: Councllmsg~rs Sorteberg and Cox. <br /> <br />Consider Action On Proposed Storm Sewer Improvements To <br /> Mississi~oi Storm Sewer District: <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann noted that it was brought out at the public hearing that even <br />though the water is currently subsiding, the City should nOt cease to <br />pursue store sewer improvements as wet cycles can return at any time. <br /> <br />Councilm~mber DeLuca stated that be is very familiar with the 149th area <br />and he doesn't believe a temporary reprieve in weather conditions will be <br />sufficient to manage drainage; future develolment levels will also affect <br />drainage <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adopt Resolution ~87-56 ordering plans and specifications for storm sewer <br />improve~ents to the Mississippi Storm Sewer District. (Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution %87-56). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes.' Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca and <br />Pearson. Voting No.. None.
