Rd. %56. <br /> <br />Commissioner Bendriksen inquired as to hours of operation. <br /> <br />Mr. Gary Sauer replied that actual operation of the plant machinery would <br />be from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; prepatory and repair work on the plant <br />machinery would be prior to 7:00 a.m. and after 4..30 p.m.; there may be <br />emergency occasions where the hours would vary. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson inquired as to the condition the property will be left in <br />if the plant moves on to a new location. <br /> <br />Mr. Gary Sauer replied that the site plan addresses property end use. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson stated that with respect to the proposed airport <br />improv~ent project, P&Z m~st function as if it were not a factor at this <br />time. <br /> <br />Mr. Gary Sauer ,stated that his firm is following the airport issue very <br />carefully; that he does not intend to spend a lot cf money developing the <br />plant c~ his property just to .~ke a larger profit if the airport project <br />is approved; noted that he also does not intend to delay his plans for an <br />indefinite period of time; if it appears the airport is going to be <br />approved, Barton Sand and Gravel will consider alternative locations. <br /> <br />Cc~mu[ssio~er Hendriksen inquired as to projected heights for stockpiles and <br />structures. <br /> <br />Mr. Gary Sauer replied that stockpiles are planned for 30' in height; the <br />highest structure point would be 65' where conveyors come into the top of <br />the silos. <br /> <br />Cc~missioner Hendriksen inquired if Mr. Sauer would be willing to pamait to <br />replacing any dying trees that are l~rt cf the screening with similar size <br />trees. <br /> <br />Mr. Gary Sauer replied that he would replace dying trees if intentions are <br /> P & Z/March 3, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 7 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
