Co~cil wants their vote to count and this Commission needs <br />their direction to aooomplish that. <br /> <br />(k~mmtssioner Deemer stated that the developer should not be delayed for as <br />long as it takes to get Council direction; this Commission should take <br />action in accordance with existing ordinances and Comcil's action on the <br />case will serve as P&Z's direction. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Howell to <br />proceed to address ~. Bertils request for preliminary plat approval of Now <br />and Then Estates even with the absence of clarification from City Council <br />regarding n~ber of accesses to be required to plats. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chaiman Paterson, Oommissioners Zimmerman, <br /> <br />Motion by Coenissioner LaDue and seconded by Chairman Peterson that the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission is of the opinion that one-access plats <br />cce~ly with current City ordinances and therefore, the Planning and Zoning <br />Ccemtssion r~ that City Council accepts and approves any future <br />plats containing one acoess. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Votirg Yes: Chairman Paterson, ~ssioners Zimmerman, <br />Deemer, Shum~ay, ~owell, _~nue and Hendriksen. Voting NO: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell and seconeded hy Commissioner Shumway to <br />recommend approval of Mr. Paul Bertils request for preliminary plat <br />approval of Ncw and Then Estates contingent upon the developer providing <br />information requested in the City Engineer's letter dated March 3, 1987, <br />Items 1-6. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Bertils stated that he intends to take care of any <br />lots requirin~ fill before filin~ the final plat. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chaiman Peterson, Ccmmfissioners Zimmerman, <br />Shum~ay, ~cmer, r_~nue, ~endriksen and Howell. Votin9 No.' None. <br /> <br />Motion by Comissioner Zi~erman and seconded by O0mnissioner Hendriksen to <br />adjourn and continue this meeting to March 19, 1987 at 7:30 p. nu <br /> <br />Motion carried.
