· Ski lift facilities and equipment <br />· Concession-only buildings <br /> <br />Ineligible Miscellaneous Facilities <br /> <br />· Archaeological sites <br />· Development of historical sites <br />· Historical buildings <br />· Museums <br />· Facilities intended primarily for interscholastic or semiprofessional play <br />· Lodges~ moLe]s~ cabins <br />· Game refuges or fish production areas <br />· Decorative fountains, commemorative/memorial plaques, statutes <br />· Administrative expenses (meals, proiect accounting, etc.) <br /> <br />Please contact the Outdoor Recreation Grants Section at (612) 296-4703 if you have <br />any questions concerning the eligibility of your proiect. <br /> <br />Regulations <br /> <br />The following regulation applies Lo any proiect sponsor who has received federal <br />I_AWCON assistance in previous years: <br /> <br />· Single Audit Act of 1984 (P.L. 98-502) OMB Circular A-128. <br /> <br />Any local unit of government that has received $25~000 or more in LAWCON <br />assistance must submit an audit Lo the Community Development Division, Outdoor <br />Recreation Grants Section. <br /> <br />The following regulations apply to any proiect receiving LAWCON or state funds and <br />should be considered during proiect development: <br /> <br />· Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 requires that no person in the United SLates <br /> shall~ on the grounds of race~ color, national origin, age, or handicap, be excluded <br /> from participation in~ be denied benefits of~ or be otherwise subiected to <br /> discrimination~ with respect to the use of a LAWCON/staLe-assisted park. <br /> <br />Each local unit of government receiving LAWCON/state funds must display posters <br />explaining the non-discrimination provisions of Title Vt, including compliance <br />procedures and must develop a procedure for processing Title VI related complaints. <br /> <br />· All LAWCON/sLate-assisted proiects must comply with the handicapped accessibility <br /> standards~ as staled in Section 50~, of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973~ <br /> Chapter 55, of the Minnesota SLate Building Code; and with the Public Services <br /> Provision of the 198~ disability amendments, Minnesota Human Rights Act. <br /> <br />Contact the Outdoor Recreation Grants Section if you need additional information on <br />any of these regulations. <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
