Mary Kytonen, were business partners at one time but there is no longer any <br />financial involvement between he and the Kytonen's. <br /> <br />Commission reviewed the proposed findings of fact. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson noted that Sleep Easy has a conditional use permit to <br />operate in this same area and asked Mr. James if that operation has had an <br />adverse impact on the development Alpaca Estates. <br /> <br />Mr. James replied he can'tsay that the Sleep Easy operation has hurt the <br />develol~ent but it would hav been better if it were not a metal building. <br /> <br />Cxmmissioner Dc,~--~er noted that the Sleep Easy Mattress Company has never <br />manufactured mattresses at the site; it is a retail only operation; <br />existing conditional use permit to manufacture and retail mattresses may no <br />longer exist because of non-useage. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Zimmerman to <br />recommend adoption of Findings of Fact, amended as follows, relating to <br />Construction Consultant's request for a conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Add ~22. That at a prior time, the applicant did operate the same <br /> type of facility in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Deemer, <br />_~Due, Shu~way, Ziz~erman, Hendriksen and H(~ell. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The C(mmtission proceeded to review the proposed conditional use permit <br />agreement. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to <br />reoc~me~d approval of Construction Consultant's request for a conditional <br />use permit to construct and operate a manufacturing facility in the B-1 <br />Business District and to approve the proposed Conditional Use Permit <br />Agreement amended as follows: <br /> <br />Add %5. <br /> <br />That a site plan be suk~itted and approved by the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />Amend fl. Blue Max is permitted to manufacture canvas related <br /> products on the premises. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Cc~missioners Zimmerman, <br />Deemer, Shtm~ay, f~.ndriksen, ~aDue and Howell. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The Co~ndssion proceeded with the site plan review. <br /> <br />Ore, missioner Deemer suggested shifting the building location 10 feet north <br />to get maximu~ use of the lot. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner ~cmer and seconded by Commissioner Zimmerman to <br />reo0maend approval of the site plan request by Construction Consultants <br />contingent upon the applicant agreeing to conditions of the proposed <br /> P & Z/February 3, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 3 of 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
