Discussion P~_arding S~bdlvi~ion P~qu_ irements.. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the Commission having asked for Council <br />direction regarding requiring multiple accesses to plats based on Council's <br />recent position with Aut~m%n M~adows. The Commission noted that Council <br />referred the subject back to Planning and Zoning for review and <br />recommendations with no specific comments or guidelines. Discussion ensued <br />regarding whether accesses to plats should be handled on a case by case <br />basis or if further direction should be requested fr~m council. <br /> <br />Commissioner Howell suggested that Ms. Norris obtain information fr~m other <br />communities regarding guidelines used for requiring multiple accesses to <br />plats. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to <br />request further direction frc~ City Council regarding their suggestions for <br />guidelines to requiring multiple accesses to plats. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Deemer, <br />Shu~way, Zimmerman, LaDue, ~endriksen and Howell. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Request For Preliminary_ Plat _Approval Of Now And Then Estates; <br /> Case Of Mr. Paul Bertil~; <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed City Engineer Paatikka's letter dated February 3, <br />1987 and it appears by it's contents that Mr. Raatikka has not had the <br />opportunity to review the most recent material submitted by Mr. Bertils. <br />The C(mm~ission also received materials just prior to the start of the <br />meeting and would like more time to review it before recommending <br />preliminary plat approval. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zi~merman suggested that the developer be required to correct <br />the low water t_ahle lots before filing the plat. <br /> <br />Motion by Co~missioner Deemer and seconded by Cxm~issioner Howell to table <br />Mr. Bertils' request for preliminary plat approval of Now and Then Estates <br />until all required materials are provided. <br /> <br />Further Discussim: Cc~missio~er ~owell suggested that Mr. Bertils not <br /> P & Z/February 3, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 4 of 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
