Voting No: None. <br /> <br />c) Road and Bridge Committee - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg to appoint Mayor Reimann and <br />Councilm~nber Pearson to the Road and Bridge Cxmm~tt~ for 1987. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Cox stated that it would not be <br />appropriate to expect the Mayor to serve on two oommittees in addition <br />to fulfilling his mayoral duties. <br /> <br />The motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~mber COx and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />appoint Councilmsmbers Pearson and Sorteberg to the Road and Bridge <br />Committee for 1987. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: Councilm~mber Pearson. <br /> <br />d) Precinct designations- <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that precinct designation is a waste of time <br />and suggested that Council take no action. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that ignoring this charter requirement is grounds <br />for misfeasance and r~noval from office. <br /> <br />Councilmember DeLuca inquired if the Charter Commission is reviewing <br />this precinct requirement. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley replied that staff is scheduling meetings of the Charter <br />C~ssion to address each chapter to be reviewed. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seoonded by Counc~r DeLuca <br />to designate Counc~r DeLuca for Precinct %1, Councilm~mher Cox <br />for Precinct #2, Councilmember Pearson for Precinct #3 and Mayor <br />Reimann and Councilm~mber Sorteberg at large for 1987. <br /> <br />Page 7 of 26 <br /> <br /> <br />
