It covered equipment operators <br />dealing with the public and the image of the public works worker which I thought <br />were the best two classes of all. Dealing with the public is one of the hardest <br />jobs in public works and knowing how to talk to people is a big help. There also <br />were classes on safety in handling-flammable products and also safety on equipment <br />such as chain saws. They had an excellent movie on cutting wood with chain saws <br />that anyone .who has to run a chain saw skould see. There were also classes on <br />hazardous w~ste, snow removal techniques by other cities, tort liability and some <br />tips on equipment maintenance. <br /> <br />The faculty for this seminar included expert~ of these fields. I am looking forward <br />to attending more of these classes and hope my operators can, too.
