WELL AND IRRIGATION SYSTEM EQUIPMENT FOR CENTRAL PARK; C. <br /> <br />BARTHEL'S RUM RIVER ACRES SECOND ADDITION): <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Enclosure (DZ-c) contains documents pertaining to the following issues which <br />require Council action: <br /> <br /> a) Authorizing partial payment to contractor for Beaudry's Second Addition <br />Street Improvement Project ~83-15 - This was before Council at the October <br />ZS, 1983 meeting at which time payment on this project was tabled because of <br />construction problems. Accordingly, we (Mayor Gamec, City Engineer Raatikka <br />and myself) met with Hardrives, Inc. on November 1, 1983 at the Ramsey Municipal <br />Center regarding project problems. The contractor has agreed that there is <br />a problem but due to the lateness of the season, they said it would be repaired <br />in the spring of 1984. Please refer to the above enclosure for a letter dated <br />November 8, 1983 from Hardrives, Inc. and also the City Engineer's letter dated <br />November 11, 1983. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Further, the City Engineer will discuss with Council the authorizing of a partial <br />payment in the amount of $56,66Z.00 to Hardrives, Inc. There will be a retainage <br />of $5,000. Please refer to the City Engineer's letter of November 11, 1983 <br />regarding this issue. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be as follows on this case: <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> 1) Council should note the letter dated November 8, 1983 from Hardrives, <br />Inc. and also the City's Engineer's letter dated November 11, 1983 regarding <br />the resolving of 150 feet of street problem on 15Znd Avenue NW and 1g0 feet <br />of street problem on Jaspar Street NW. The City is proposing to hold a $5,000 <br />retainage to resolve the above problems. <br /> <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />! <br /> <br /> Z) The authorizing of a partial payment to Hardrives, Inc. in the amount <br />of $56,66Z.00 is requested by the City Engineer. He will have a partial payment <br />authorization request f9r Council approval at the meeting. Council should note <br />that there is a retainagd of $5,000 that will be held to resolve the above problems. <br /> <br />Council will have to adopt a resolution to authorize partial payment in the amount <br />of $56,06Z.00.
