Council Action: No action is required. <br /> ",~k~._~/ b) Community development.block ~rant - I will cover this in my staff report. <br /> CASE '9: APPROVAL OF FUNDING PROGRAM TO ASSIST RAMSEY PONCE AND C1TI~Z~INS <br /> <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />CASE ~10: <br /> <br />TO FIGHT CHEMICAL PROBLEMS: <br /> <br />Enclosure (D3-g) contains a request from the Ramsey Police Chief with back:up <br />information regarding the special funding of a program to assist the police and <br />citizens to fight drug problems in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of funding a program <br />to assist the Ramsey police department and citizens to fight chemical problems. <br />The following proposed motion is hereby submitted for your consideration if you <br />approve this: <br /> Motion by l/,~' and seconded by ~/~ t~~o apto approve of the l~amsey <br /> Police Chief's request for funding of a program to fight chemical problems <br /> as outlined by the Police Chief's memo dated October 31, 1983. The funding <br /> of $250 will be p~-ovided from the Council sinking fund for this project. Further, <br /> it is requested that the Council be given written reports on the project when <br /> it is commenced in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
