MTI Teleprograms Inc. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />! <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />October, 1983 <br /> <br />Dear Chief: <br /> <br />On November 2nd 4nd 9th, a landmark program will be televise~ over your local <br />PBS station. <br /> <br />THE CHEMICAL PEOPLE, created and produced by WQED/Pittsburgh, with support <br />from The White House and 30 national service and professional organizationS, <br />and distributed by MTI, is a two-part series on the national.school-age drug <br />and alcohol abqse problem. <br /> <br />Organizations such as yours who have been dealing with th'is widespread epidemic <br />realize that solutions depend on the involvement of all citizens in the community. <br />Today, tens of thousands of Task Forces are being form6d in communities across <br />the country to watch THE CHEMICAL PEOPLE and take action to prevent further <br />spread of the abuse. <br /> <br />MTI recognizes that many of your personne} will watch THE CHEMICAL PEOPLE <br />and will want tq tape these two programs off-the-air for use in your organization, <br />To facilitate the retention of THE CHEMICAL PEOPLE under copyright, we are <br />enclosing an off-air taping license retention agreement for your signature. <br />The cost for these rights is $125 per program for 5 years; $65 per program <br />for 1 year.
