C/September 10, 1984 <br /> <br />proposed resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember <br />Reimann to adopt Resolution #84-130 approving of plans and <br />specifications and ordering the advertisement for bids for pump <br />house. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #84-130.) <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br />Reimann, Sorteberg <br />Schlueter. <br /> <br />Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, <br /> and Van Wagner. Voting No: <br /> <br />Councilmembers <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that in order to comply with <br />Charter Chapter 8, Council shall, within 90 days of effective <br />date of charter, adopt and establish complete working code for <br />special assessments within the City. Mr. Goodrich stated that <br />the ordinance amendment is a combination of Charter requirements <br />and Minnesota State Statute 429 and it basically reads the same <br />as Mounds View's ordinance. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he thinks Mounds View is currently making <br />changes to their ordinance and it might be good to find out just <br />what changes they found to be necessary. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich also distributed copies of proposed ordinances <br />regarding on-sale and off-sale of liquor on election days; the <br />State now allows for liquor sales on election days but cities can <br />be more restrictive; Anoka and Coon Rapids have adopted <br />ordinances allowing liquor sales on election days. <br /> <br />Council noted receiving copies of proposed Ordinances 84-8, 84-9 <br />and 84-10.. <br /> <br />LD~__6~__~2Q ..... <br /> <br />Department's Seizure Of Prgp~f~y <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that the IRS is the only agency in the U.S. <br />that can take over property which they have done in this case~ <br />and their are special assessments due on this property. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van <br />Wagner to bill the Internal Revenue Service for special <br />assessments due on property located at 6920 152nd Avenue N.W., <br />PIN 22-32-25-31-0024. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers <br />Reimann, Sorteberg, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Page 12 of 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
