Council recessed at 9:07 p.m. Mayor Gamec called the meeting back to order at 9:25 p.m. Mr. Wilbur Dorn was present to bring Council up to date on the status of the golf course project. The project involves 150-160 acres and is a combination of single family dwellings, some commercial and a golf course. The are two groups involved: the lot developers and the golf course corporation. These groups have been in negotations for the past year. The designer and surveyor have been working on the project; earlier this summer the golf course corporation negotiated a sprinkler system; an extension has been received on the SBA loan. The City of Ramsey granted preliminary approval last year and since then .some design changes have been made: Council approved 20 single family residential lots; are requesting Council approval to 23 lots which would change the overall density from 7 1/2 acres per lot to 7 acres per lot. m The original concept had two development and that has been outlots are not eligible for prior City approval. outlots for future reduced to one outlot; building permits without Mr. Dorn requested Council approval to the amended plan. i I I I I Council had no objections to the amended plan. Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to approve the amended Rum River Hills Preliminary Plan which includes the addition of 3 residential lots and the deletion of one outlot; to grant a 3 month extension in time for final plat approval; and that approval is contingent upon the amended plan being reviewed by Metro Council. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, Sorteberg, Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None.
