I
I
I
I
I
I
i
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I

FROM:

DATE:

RE:

Lloyd Schnelle, City Administrator/Clerk

Jeanne Moen, City Accountant

November 18, 1983

Probationary Status, Kathleen Johnson

On December 27, 1983 Kathleen Johnson's 6 month probationary
period will expire. This memo is intended to address her
performance during that period of time, and to serve as a
recommendation to you and the council as to the action to be
taken.

During the time Kathleen has been employed at the City, she has
demonstrated an admirable ability to work with people in many
different capacities. In addition to that highly desirable
quality, she also demonstrates:

1. the ability to work on her own,
2. initiative in making improvements to
her work,
3. her willingness to help others,
4. an ability to rate duties according
to priority,
5. and a willingness to learn.

In my opinion, Kathleen is a tremendous asset to the Accounting
Department, and the City of Ramsey.

Kathleen's first step program increase is scheduled to be effective
January 1, 1984, along with the normal annual increase. Passing of
this probationary period is a formality that should be accomplished
before that date.

CC: Kathleen Johnson
Personnel File
