I I I I I I I Motion by Councilmember to introduce the following Resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 84- CITY OF RA#SEY ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION ORDERING IHPROVE~KHT AHD PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FLINT~OOD HILLS 2ND ADDITION NUNICIPAL UTILITIES WHEREAS, a certain petition requesting the construction of sanitary sewer, storm sewer water and street to serve the FLINTW00D HILLS 2ND ADDITION PUD was duly presented to the Council on the 26th day of August, 1983; and WHEREAS, the Council caused the resolution determining the adequacy of the petition for the said improvements to be published pursuant to M.S.A. Chapter 429.035 and that no appeal as to the adequacy of the petition has been brought pursuant to M.S.A. Chapter 429.036; and WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted , 1984, a feasibility report has been prepared by City Engineer, Peter R. Raatikka, with reference to the improvement, and this feasibility report was received by the Council on February 28, 1984; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer estimates that the cost for the preparation of plans and specifications for the construction of the improvements petitioned for will be $60,000.00; and W~EREAS, the City has adopted an amendment to its City Code Subdivision Chapter which amendment requires that when City participation for improvement projects is requested through the procedures of M.S.A. Chapter 429, stringent escrows and guarantees to the City to insure payment of the improvement contruction costs are required. That the city ordinance authorizing these escrows is known as Ordinance #84-4.
