I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ,84- <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #84-1Z5 receiving bid <br />only on Municipal Well No. 1; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the developer for the 1River's Bend plat has filed with the City <br />of Ramsey a letter of credit dated August 9, 1984 in the amount of $ <br />to cover the cost of the construction of Municipal Well No. 1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following bids were received: <br /> <br />Bergerson Caswell, Inc. <br />E. H. Rennet and Sons, Inc. <br />La)me Minnesota Company <br /> <br />$44,980 <br />$46,510 <br />$66,800 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Bergerson Caswell, Inc. is the lowest <br />responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed <br />to enter into the attached contract with Bergerson Caswell, Inc. for the construction <br />of Municipal Well No. 1 according toihe plans and specifications therefore approved <br />by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk. <br /> <br /> Z) The Ci't~r AdministrAtor/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the :.deposit made with their bids, except that the deposit <br />of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract <br />is signed. <br /> <br /> 3) It is further directed t° enter into an agreement whereby if a petition <br />was filed opposing the creating of a utility ordinance, that the developers of River's <br />Bend will suffer all costs of said construction of Municipal Well No. 1. <br /> <br /> <br />
