COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case ~1: ~Sbdivt.d. eB Metes And Bounds And Construct A <br /> <br />Mr. Ketllor was present and stated that he has a 6.3 acre parcel <br />of land on which he would like to construct a house but he cannot <br />afford to extend 171st through the property at this time; he is <br />willing to grant the City an easement for future public road. <br /> <br />,I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />,! <br /> ! <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that prior to Council's last meeting, the City <br />has not allowed for such requests. Council's action at their last <br />meeting involved the two parties that have purchased the balance <br />of this farm property from Mr. Keillor's mother. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that granting such requests has created <br />problems for the City, as in the area of 167th. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman noted that Mr. Keillor would also need a <br />variance to the 10 acre.minimum lot size. <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed the. proposed findings of fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and .seconded by Cc,~missioner Zimmerman <br />to accept Findings of Fact 00 regarding Mr. Benjamin Keillor's <br />request to subdivide by metes and bounds and construct a dwelling <br />on a parcel with inadequate frontage on a public street. (Please <br />refer to findings of fact' file for Findings of Fact 00 ). <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners <br />Deemer, Zimmerman, Hendriksen, LaDue and Johnson. Voting No: <br />Absent: Commissioner Kennen. <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Zimmerman and seconded by Co~missioner <br />Hendriksen to recommend approval of Mr. Benjamin Keillor's request <br />to subdivide by metes and bounds and construct a dwelling on a <br />parcel with inadequate frontage on a public street with the following <br />recommendations: <br /> <br />That the applicant provide a 66' dedicated easement, which <br />should be Class 5 <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />That the applicant provide for a cul-de-sac on the East <br />side bordering 171st. <br /> <br />Further, that the Commission would be in favor of creating two <br />buildable parcels if the easement were granted. Further, that the <br />City retain that part North of the South bank of Trott Brook in lieu <br />of cash for park dedication. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners <br />Deemer, Zimmerman0 3ohnson, Hendriksen and LaDue. Voting No: <br />None. Absent: Commissioner Kennen. <br /> <br /> <br />
