As <br />part of each board meeting, the board will agree on the site, time and place for the <br />next quarterly meeting. Initial organizational meeting will be at the Fire ftation <br />meeting room. <br /> <br /> Each member of the board selected from the City Councils and/or from the staff of <br />each City must attend a minimuum of two regular meetings each year. Failure to maintain <br />this attendance requirement will require the 'appropriate City Council to make another <br />appointment. If desired by the appropriate City:Council, the same individual may be re- <br />appointed. <br /> <br />The Fire Chief or his appointed alternate must attend each meeting. <br /> <br /> Said board may adopt rules not inconsistent with this contract for the purpose of <br />carrying out its duties hereunder. <br /> <br /> Roberts Rules of Order will be the governing procedural rules unless otherwise <br />changed by board action. <br /> <br />ARTICLE <br /> <br /> The Cities of Anoka, Champlin and Ramsey shall contribute to the total annual <br />operating cost of the Anoka-Champlin-Ramsey Fire Department and to the purchase of all <br />fire department equipment based upon the following formula: <br /> <br /> Percentage of the total costs Which each governmental unit will be assessed will b~ <br />based on the percentage of assessed valuation which each governmental units bears to the <br />total assessed valuation of the three governmental units and adding to said sum the <br />percentage of population which each of said governmental units bears to the total <br />population of the three governmental units. The combined percentage of each <br />governmental unit's assessed valuation plus its percentage of population shall be that <br />governmental unit's contribution to the total fire service budget. <br /> <br /> Population computations will be based on the latest available data as published in <br />the Metropolitan Council annual population projection. <br /> <br /> Assessed valuations for each City will be that valuation as published by the County <br />Assessor for the most current year. <br /> <br /> <br />
