Amendment <br /> <br />Chapter.210.01 "Street Assessments" is hereby amended to read as <br />follows ' <br /> <br /> 210.01 <br /> <br /> PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS <br /> SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS <br /> <br />210.01.1 Title and Purpose. <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Title. This chapter will be known, cited and <br />referred to as the am~-~-~y Public Improvement Code", except as <br />referred to herein, where it shall be known as "this Code". <br /> <br /> Subdivision 2. Purpose. It is the'purpose of this Code to <br />provide the procedure--~CO~initiattng, custructtng, maintaining, <br />and financing local hnprovements and the imposition of special <br />assessements. <br /> <br />210.O1.2 Authority. 'This code is enacted pursuant to <br />the Home Rule Charter of the City of Ramsey (hereinafter <br />referred to as the "Charter"), Chapter 8.03. <br /> <br />210.01.3 Def.___lnition~s~ <br /> Subdivision 1. For he purpose of this Code the terms <br />defined in this section shall have the meanings ascribed to <br />them. <br /> <br /> Subdivision 2. "Abutting Property Owners" re{ers to the <br />owners of real property in the City of Ramsey, which parcels <br />abut upon a proposed local ~mprovement and benefit from the <br />improvement. <br /> <br /> Subdivision 3. "Benefit" refers to an actual increase in <br /> <br />the fair market value of a parcel of realty as the result of a <br />local improvement. <br /> <br /> <br />
